The 43rd annual Habitat for Humanity tournament at Fox Hill Club was a huge success raising over $20,000. The vast majority of the funds raised went to the Habitat for Humanity’s Mountain Brook development where they will be building 8 Habitat Homes and helping Veterans Community Project to build 26 Small Cottages for homeless veterans, with the remainder going to Skyline Kiwanis general fund to help other community members in need. Skyline Kiwanis’ own Dave Emerson, Executive Director for St. Vrain Habitat for Humanity coordinated the event with help from a lot of volunteers! Thank you!

A huge thanks to Scott Nix, owner of Nixcavating in Longmont, as he was the event sponsor contributing $2,500 followed by the Dinner Sponsor in Colorado Materials donating $1,500. Krische Construction was the Golf Cart Sponsor contributing $1,000. In addition, there were dozens of local companies that were hole sponsors contributing $50 each on top of tournament entry spend.

28 teams signed up for the tournament, and a great event it was! After the golf tournament, an awesome dinner was prepared by the Fox Hill club including salmon and ribs, followed by Skyline Kiwanis Club member OJ Pratt putting on a fun and exciting fund raising auction. We had several generous participants in the auction, and we thank all of you that participated in the golf tournament and the auction. A special thank you goes out to Fox Hill Club for hosting the event!
