2024 Celebrating our 47th year!
Who are we and what do we do?
Skyline Kiwanis generates over $600,000 annually and distributes funds for various needy organizations and folks in our Longmont area community.
Attendance: We meet every Wednesday @ Noon
The American Legion Post 32, 315 South Bowen St in Longmont.
We open with the Pledge of Allegiance and prayer.
Lunch is served while we conduct our business.
Announcements, reports, fellowship and interesting fund raising program action items are completed in 1-hour.
Dues: Our dues are about $150.00 per quarter that includes lunch, beverage and Kiwanis fees
*We expect our club members to regularly attend our meetings and club fund raising events as it fits into their schedule.
We promise our members an opportunity to serve our community focusing on youth. We hope to share our experience, knowledge and love of the community with each other. We have fun, fellowship, and the Kiwanis Tradition to enjoy.
Recurring Fundraisers:
- Fundraising bingo sessions every Monday night at Longmont Bingo Alley. Currently these sessions support the following organizations with the support of the organizations volunteers:
- Pearl Group
- Rhythm of the Horse
- Crossroads School
- TLC Learning Center
- Annual Skyline Golf tournament that currently benefits Habitat for Humanity
- Top Golf Tournaments for special fundraising causes including our cherished veterans
- “Skyline Shoot out” fund raiser for Longmont’s annual 4th of July Fireworks Show and Gala
- Meals on Wheels food program for homebound people
- Annual hanks Giving Dinner for the elderly
- Winter Holiday Bell ringing for the Salvation Army @ Christmas
- Annual Longmont 4th of July Fireworks fundraiser to support patriotism and appreciation for our Declaration of Independence as created by our Founding Fathers.
- New fundraisers where a good cause is present.
